Training Sessions

Steady Run

What: A steady-paced 5-6 mile social run, with 2 or 3 stops en route. A chance to get to know other club members, discuss training tips etc. Ideal for a recovery run after a weekend race.
Where: Blackstones Sports & Social Club, Lincoln Road, Stamford
When: Tuesday, 7.00 pm sharp
 

Speed Sessions

What: Structured effort sessions of either hard interval work or hill work, designed to give you that extra boost of speed when you most need it in a race. Come along, run at your own level, and you`ll soon start to notice the difference in your times. A sure way to improve your PBs.
Where: Blackstones Sports & Social Club, Lincoln Road, Stamford
When: Thursday, 7.00 pm sharp
 

General Run

What: 6-8 mile run, run at your own pace, but without the "chat" breaks we have on a Tuesday. We can split into groups of differing speed and ability, where necessary, so you will never be left alone. We usually follow this up with a social evening in bar at Blackstones.

When: Friday, 7.00 pm sharp
 

Other Activies

We also arrange regular Sunday runs. These tend to be at a slower pace but range from 10 - 12 miles and are great for burning off calories
