Stamford Striders Summer Ball
We are getting very close to the night of the Stamford Striders Summer Ball which is being held at The Sibson Inn Hotel on Saturday 19th June. If you haven't put your name down, there are still places available, just speak to a committee member or email Paul.
The only criteria is that you must wear your best party frock (ladies that is) and guys dig out your dinner suits. Transport is provided from Stamford for those that require it.
The night will consist of a welcome drink, a three course meal followed by a disco going on until 12-30.
If you would like to go please let me know via email. Can you also let me know if you require transport so I can put your name down.
Along with the chance to socialise with your fellow Striders, get to know people you may not have met before, the best bit about the evening is that the club will be paying for your night out (for members), and partners only have to pay a reduced price of £20.
[Edit: Pete: Come on guys and girls, the summer is upon us and we have a free night out. Hang your trainers up, forget about running for one night and get your names down. On top of a great night out, you are more than likely to witness, many embarassing moments from the characters within the club (you know who you are) so keep your camera handy...]

Chicken wrapped in bacon with white wine sauce
Braised lamb shank with minted gravy

For those of you wanting transport here are the bus pick up times ( Approx ) to arrive for 19.30hrs eating at 20.00hrs .

Casterton Road Layby 18.50hrs
Danish Invader 18.55hrs
Dolphin Inn 19.00hrs
Please do not be late as I do not have names for each pick up ( unless you wish to get in some extra training ).
Carriages await at 01.00hrs
