Great news - the organisers of the Whissendine 6ix have re-arranged the race, finding a date that works for us - it will now be held on Sunday 23rd September with a 2:00pm start. We are keeping this lovely race in the Striders Championship so it will be a good day to put the Sunday roast back to the evening and help get a great Striders turnout.

Grimsthorpe 10k is definitely cancelled and we have added a great multi-terrain in it's place - the Dovedale Dash on 4th November 11:00 start - why not make this a family day out or car share with other Striders as it is a little further away than normal.  Stunningly beautiful route - ony 4.75 miles, enter on the day only and record you own time - this race has a strong following and has been run since 1953. Advice from thier web site - tie your laces tight - they can't even re-sell the shoes that emerge from the mud next spring as they won't be in pairs !!
