Come on Striders! If you like a party, then you won't want to miss this. The Striders' Summer Ball is the night out of the sunshine season. Oodles to eat, gallons to drink and a good couple of hours' silly dance shapes to throw, giving you plenty to smile about during the gloomier months ahead. What could make more sense than a night like this? The big bash takes place at the William Cecil (Sat 21st July 7pm-midnight) and includes a hog roast, salads and choice of summer desserts. Disco favourites will include Status Quo for Paul Hannah, plus YMCA for all those lucky enough to have learned some interesting leg-moves to this dancefloor classic.
