Paul and Amanda Hannah competed in the Friskney (near Skegness) half marathon on Sunday (April 8). The race, with a field 0f 169 runners, started in perfect conditions but an hour in and it was heavy rain for the remainder. For those who hate hills, this is your race because it is flat - extremely flat - with nothing of interest aside from a few farm houses and many, many fields to take your mind off your niggles. Fortunately Paul and Amanda were fighting fit and on excellent form, with Paul finishing 58th in 1:35:46 and Amanda 90th in 1:43:22. Top work both.
