Amanda Hannah proved winter training is worthwhile by being first woman home at the 13-mile Caythorpe Dash (Feb 19). The lure of the mud and tough hills of the Belvoir Valley proved irresistible to Amanda and fellow off-road lovers: Paul Hannah and Mick and Sheona Revill. Paul was also on good form, having another successful race. Mick improved on previous races, recovering from a pre-Christmas broken rib, while Sheona put in a solid run to complete the team of four. The FREE soup, sausages, teas, cakes, etc were just the icing on the event. Well worth giving it a go as a race to try.Watch this space... Striders as we may have also won the team prize.
