"Born in Stamford, I have been running for almost 25 years both for social pleasure and competitive running. My favourite distances are Half Marathons and Marathons but run at all distances for the Striders. I am a qualified UK Athletics Endurance Running Coach and enjoy helping novices improve their running. Its a great sport to be in and you will make many new friends."

"I was born and bred in Stamford and have been running for about 7 years. I started off to get fit as I realised I was closer to 40 than I liked, but soon got the bug and within 3 years had run my first marathon. I have now done 4 marathons and am currently training for London this year."
